Wayne Arthurs has sent the following message to everyone for the weekend:-

“Gday to all the players, managers and parents.

Welcome to the Wayne Arthurs Cup for 2021 and to the Kooyong Lawn Tennis club one of the most prestigious clubs in the world. Unfortunately I can’t be there in person over the weekend as I live in Brisbane these days. I have been very lucky to have my name associated with this event for over a decade now.
It has always been a passion of mine to help inspire the young, upcoming Australian tennis players. This event, with its unique format, has become a great highlight on the under 10 calendar. And it has been really exciting for me to follow the progress of players who haved this event in the past and gone on to realise their dreams in the sport of tennis. Hopefully some of you will also realise your tennis dreams in the future!
I would like to thank Chris Brown and the Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club, Peter Quinn and the Kooyong Foundation, Tennis Victoria, the officials and team managers for making this weekend possible and a great memory for all the players. Hope you all have a great weekend of tennis. Win, lose or draw, respect your opponents, your parents, officials and managers. Play with passion, determination and fair play. But most of all have fun and enjoy playing this great game with your friends. Good luck to everyone. Wayne Arthurs."

Well done to all teams and players for getting through the matches on Saturday with a couple of rain delays. Unfortunately the weather was against us on Sunday and there was no play.

Please find attached results after round 4 was completed. All match results and individual player results are available on Match Centre when you log into your TENNIS account. All players registered in their team with a Tennis account that shows their age, will have their results transferred to UTR (Universal Tennis Rating).

A massive thank you to Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club and the Kooyong Foundation for having us as this event would not happen without their huge support.

A special thank you to the Team Managers for making the matches and rounds run very smoothly, also to Rose our referee for all your help and to Sheree our sports trainer. It was great working with you all.
